TAKE CONTROL


BRIEF: To create a product or brand targeted at middle aged people, focusing on the opportunities of mid life.


OUTCOME: I have created a sub-brand of tights for Marks & Spencer called ‘Take Control’. It is a range of fashion tights with the added support of control wear aimed to bring the middle aged women up to date and feel fashionable whilst still focusing on contouring their figure for added confidence. I have rolled the tights instead of the usual flat pack design, I have rolled them around a nude coloured piece of card to show the flesh colour of the leg. I have used an opaque sleeve and card sleeve with a ribbon to keep them in place and allow hanging in store. I have colour coded each pattern of tights in the range and added different phrases for each to add a sexy, fun approach.
